pressure sensitivity doesn't work for me or does it only work if I have an Apple Pencil? Please help.

Duplicates 14
Slow down how the pen moves

can we have a setting were we could change the how fast or slow the pen moved so its easier for us to draw lines

Is it possible to turn on correction and pen pressure off?
How do you change the stylus size?
Sensitive

I think you should add a pressure sensitivity mode

3d touch pressure sensitivity

for ios devices with 3d touch, would it be possible to include pressure sensitivity? multiple drawing apps available for ios include this feature and i think adding it to flipaclip would make the drawing features much better.

has it just not been added yet or is it not possible to include 3d touch?

No pen pressure

it’s a really great app but sadly there is no pen pressure. I have an iPad 2018 and an Apple Pencil 2.

is this still a common problem ?

Pressure sensitivity not working

Ever since I got the app back in 2015 pressure sensitivity has never worked. I suppose on my first tablet, it's understandable, it was an old Kindle Fire and I'm unsure if it even had the feature but even on my newer devices pressure sensitivity doesn't work. (The other devices are a Sony Experia and my current phone, a Samsung A50). I have always had pressure sensitivity on, as that is a major feature in my art but it doesnt work. I have tried it using just touch mode, touch and stylus and stylus (although I dont have a stylus) and it never made a difference. Pressure sensitivity is on both of those phones and works without an issue in the other apps I use. The app is fully updated and i have most other features off to prevent lag. Is there any way of fixing this?

Pen style

Some people might of already said this but i really want the touch setting to act like stylus pressure. Hope you can do it <3

Pencil hardness

Hi,

Any chance to be able to increase the hardness on the pencil tool?

It is so soft and blurry I have to draw the same line 5 times to be able to see something, it doesn't look like a pencil texture at all.

Look at Animatic app, they have such an amazing pencil texture with the perfect hardness.

Please?

Stylus pressure sensitivity adjustment settings

我认为在Flipaclip的下一个版本中应该加入调整触控笔压感灵敏度的选项,并且改善触控笔的响应速度。

I suggest that, in the following version of FlipaClip, the choice of pressure sensitivity of stylus should be added and the fluency of it needs to be improved.

Stylus pressure sensitivity

I'm using two devices.

1) note 2 with cyanogenmodx rom 12.1

2) note 10.1 with Touchwiz rom.

Both have pressure sensitivity, but it doesn't go below a certain level. I can't make a really light stroke. Also their needs to be an opacity control via pressure.

Thanks

Stylus pressure sensitivity adjustment settings

Although FlipaClip already has pressure sensitivity for the Apple Pencil, it would be nice to have a wider range of thicknesses. For example, when I press lightly, it doesn't decrease the thickness a significant amount (vice-versa with more pressure). This is very apparent when it comes to larger brush sizes, it barely varies from thick to thin while at max settings. Maybe make it so the max sets the max brush size, but doesn't create a minimum?

Thanks :)

pressure sensitivity?

apologies if this is posted in the wrong area, this is my first time here

i have an iphone 7 with pressure sensitivity that works fine in other drawing apps. for whatever reason, it doesnt work with flipaclip and i cant think of what the problem could possibly be.

i use my finger and dont have a stylus, if that matters but i dont think it should considering the fact theres a touch option in the pressure sensitivity settings (which is turned on)

does it just not work with iphones for whatever reason? or is it something else?

Stylus pressure sensitivity not working

Hey Andie! There is a stylus pressure sensitivity toggle switch you can turn on and off in the app settings. Check to see if that is turned off?

i did that, and it does what it supposed to do. The stylus draws but not the finger.

Some of the tools in Android are missing pressure sensitivity support. We have this planned to be improved.

Go to your draw input settings, you want to have Stylus and Touch selected. That might help you?

Hello! Apologies for any delay in getting back to you! We have plans to improve the tools to behave much better with touch so it will look like it has pressure support. Thank you!

Hi.

This is still not working on my Cintiq Companion Hybrid, running android 4.2

Thanks.

Thanks for the provided info. Can you try going into FlipaClip settings and set the draw input to only Stylus? I want to verify the stylus would still draw with this setting and touch drawing would not draw. Thanks!

Hi. I hope the original poster doesn't mind me butting in, but as far as pressure sensitivity in other apps goes, I have to say that Autodesk Sketchbook is hard to beat. It is responsive and quick and you can easily draw the faintest of lines. You can build up a stronger line with repeated strokes or more pressure - just like the real thing. It is noticablty better and more natural feeling than all the other Android drawing apps and would certainly make a good benchmark.

Just wanted to add - the drawing and pressure sensitivity in Flipaclip on my Galaxy Note 10.1 is already pretty good.

Thanks for the input on this Ian. I'll take a look at that app.
