Hi. A small suggestion; would it be possible for the pencil, brush and eraser tools always to retain their previous settings, even when starting a new project?

Thanks for the feedback. It will be interesting to hear everyone's feedback on this. It makes sense but I'm not sure what the majority of users would prefer as a default solution.

Thanks for the reply. It's pretty standard on all drawing programmes and apps that the tools retain their settings - with a handy return to default button for when that is required.

I always draw with a small light pencil and it's a bit cumbersome to have to first select the pencil tool and then set up the opacity and size whenever I start a drawing. Sometimes, I find the app has gone back to the default pen tool even when returning to an existing project.

I like the idea of ian, i mean having the choice between starting a new project with previous setting and having the option of a back to default button.

since, i am here, just a little suggestion as well. When you export a file, the name starts by flipaclip and then the name of the file.
i thought it would be easier if the file would start with the name you give to your project just for organizing purposes, when you try to retrieve your exported file on your computer and you are messy person ! ;-)

Thanks for sharing your input. About the export question. Filenames, are the actual project name you provide at the time of exporting/building the movie. All FlipaClip built movies are stored in your SDcard under flipaclip/movies.

Agree with this, but I think the project should save it's own brush settings as well. As someone who dips in and out of different projects for just a couple minutes at a time, it's frustrating to have to spend time resetting your brush to the settings you want for the project.
