How to store projects to SD card instead of internal memory?
I want to have all my projects saved to my sd card instead of my tablet storage area but cannot figure out where to change the "SAVE TO" directory in the app. Thanks

What do I need to do to install and run FlipaClip on an SDcard? I use a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10A with pen tool (SM-P580), Android OS v. 8.0.1. The internal drive has only 16 gigs of storage, and FlipaClip uses a big chunk of that.
Moving FlipaClip to SD card does not move projects
So i moved flipaclip to my sd card, the app is in there but the project files are still in my phone storage, how can i fix this?

Flipaclip Storage
I'm trying to animate on flipaclip with my Samsung J7 Sky Pro, and I'm experiencing not having enough storage on my device, I am aware of flipaclip needing 100MB to work properly, but I'm having trouble clearing storage on my device, my phone has an internal storage of 16 GB, about 6GB of that is my system memory, and the flipaclip storage is worth almost 6GB, is there a reason as to why flipaclip's storage is so large? And is there a way so all of the animations and frame data could be put on the SD card instead of the internal storage? Or is that done automatically when flipaclip is on the SD card?

But, unlike most other animation apps, Flip-a-Clip does not allow you to work (Save to, Open/Close) its projects directly to/from an external SD, correct? That is, you have to work within the phone/tablet's internal (built into the motherboard) SD storage.
I for one think that it would be a big help if it could at least store/work with project media files using an 'external' chip as saving any other kind of file to external SDs seems to a big Android bottleneck. And what new phones still feature external SDs? The money is all in shutting that door for users, as Apple has shown for years.
If you have an SD card on Android you can move your app to the SD card instead of internal memory and then your projects are going to be saved to SD card. Just in case, be sure to backup your projects before doing that because they can get damaged in the process.
In the future, we are going to have a cloud account saving and all projects are going to be saved to your account automatically.

When you move FlipaClip to SD card all of your animations should be saved there. But please be sure to backup all of your projects first as in the process some of the files might be deleted. That should not happen but just in case to be 100% sure.

Yes, you can move FlipaClip to SD card just like any other app and all of your projects are going to be saved there, freeing space on the internal memory of your device.
But we strongly recommend that you first backup your projects before moving FlipaClip to SD card because some files might get damaged in the process.

After you move FlipaClip to SD card your old projects will still remain on the phone storage. Only new projects will be located on the SD card.
So when I was animating with Flipaclip (I have been animating with it for over a year now) I've noticed that suddenly my projects take up a lot of space. Thankfully for me I have an SD card and had to move Flipaclip into it. Sadly my projects disappeared when I did that, so I have to restart them.
