Unable to import audio file due to DRM protection

I recently bought the premium features but I can’t add any music from ITunes, when I try to a message pops up that says “Unable to import audio file due to DRM protection.” And I don’t know how to fix it. I didn’t pirate anything or do anything weird with my FlipaClip so I don’t know what’s causing this. Im also using an apple iPad if that helps.

Duplicates 2
My FlipaClip isn’t letting me add music from my iTunes Library. Anything to help?

I don’t know what’s happening, I tap on the music thing, then from library, and i tap on the song I want and it says the DRM protection thing. iTunes doesn’t have that through what I’ve researched. What do you think would cause this?

Cannot add music to project, something about DRM protection.

On my phone, I can put a song in the music slot, but on my iPad when I try to put that same song in the slot, it says something about the DRM protection. Not sure why it only does it on my iPad when the app on both devices is updated.

Hey Henlo,

Unfortunately, you will not be able to use songs from iTunes because they are copyrighted and cannot be used anywhere else. It is Apple's way of restricting the user to share the music with someone else. Sadly, there isn't much we can do about it.
DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection is all about copyright protection that prohibits the unauthorized use or duplication of such audio.

I suggest that you download music that is free and not copyrighted.

if you record your own music in garage band and export it, it saves in the ITUNES library.

If you then go to import it from iTunes into flipa, it says also drm protected.

Apple even owns all my stuff :/
