Would it be possible to add an option in preferences to disable tha splash screen animations when starting up Flipaclip? The animations are great, but I really just want the app so run straight away when I start it. My old tablet is slow enough as it is, so being able to select whether or not to load the splash screen would seem like a good idea.

I will definitely pass this idea to the developers and see what they think about it. We didn't have many users complain about splash screen animations but you are right - this might be a useful feature for people with older devices.
Hey, I am glad to announce that this is now possible in the newest version on Android and will soon be available on the iOS also (a huge update is coming to iOS and then Android is soon to follow :)
