Timing off when exported

For some reason when I export my animations with imported files audio, the timing of the audio appears off by a few seconds. I’ve tried screen recording it and comparing it to the FlipaClip exported version, and there is indeed a difference in the audio timing. I’m not sure what it is, but I think something is going on? I really like using FlipaClip, but this setback has been causing me issues for a while now, and I don't enjoy having to re-arrange all the frames because of a bug— so if you can explain, I’d really like to know what’s going on; thank you! And have a nice day :)

Hey Fandom Reality,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue. Could you provide us with a couple of answers please, so that we can assist you in the best possible way:

1. What is the version of the iOS that you have and which device?

2. What is the version of the App that you have?

3. Does it happen in all projects or only one?

4. Can you make a brand new project and add shorter audio and try to replicate if it will produce the same outcome?

5. When you press playback/preview is it the same ( timing also is off)?

Regards,

Igor

1. I think I updated my iPad Pro to an iOS14 recently,

2. I think I downloaded it as version 2.0.3

3. It happens to all projects

4. I’ve tried, and sadly yes it also sets the timing off
5. Yes, when I press the preview on FlipaClip it normally shows it synced, but when I download it; the timing is different (audio shift I think)

I would send an example of the flipaclip and downloaded version to demonstrate the timing difference, but it says it doesn’t support the file type on this-

(I always have to make the frames 2 before the actual audio (I normally animate on 15fps) to sync the audio in the downloaded version because of the timing thingy- I’m not sure why i have to though hh)

(also sorry for replying 2 weeks later)

Hello. Could you do a test and check if you make a new project with 10 FPS and see if the result will be the same, please? Igor

I made a test, and the timing was a bit better on that, I only fully recognized one scene (the last I think) being off, while the others were more distinct and not as visible; if what I saw was wrong; please let me know- here’s an unlisted video of the test being a somewhat comparison.

(The first one shown is me screen recording it in FlipaClip, while the second one is the download from FlipaClip)

I hope this helped:

Thank you. Please allow us some time to review it. This video was made with a lower (10) FPS than the previous ones? Igor

I just checked the animation, and it’s 12 fps- so I’m going to quickly fix the timing and rearrange it if that’s fine- really sorry for the incorrect fps

I just fixed the timing and now it’s 10 fps, here’s the corrected version; the timing being off seems to be a lot more subtle on this one

(The first one is the FlipaClip version this time, while the second one is the screen recorded one)

Thank you for looking into it, and I hope it gets fixed!

Hey Fandom,

Can you please update the app to the latest version 2.0.4 and check if you lower the FPS to 5 if the issue will be the same.

Regards,

Igor
