The same thing as adding a background, but you import a GIF or a video. The video needs to be looped as a animated background. That would be a nice feature to have.
It would be nice
could you add GIF to the application?
it will be similar to the background but the background will move the scene around with the animation
It would be really helpful to be able to have the option to import a video for the background of the animation, it would make everything sooo much more easier
I accidently deleted my project contents when clearing space on my phone but I still have the project finalized in gif form as a back up just in case. Turns out I can't import gifs into projects. I tried via image but it just shows the first frame of the gif as a still image. I realize that I should have exported it in MP4 instead but gif makes it easier to share the project. The pictures still exsist in the gif individually but I can't get them out or copy them and get them into my project.
Backgrounds should have gifs! I wrote this in a review but thought this would be necessary! I dont want to have to purchase additional apps to be able to add moving backgrounds!
Hey,
Adding gifs to projects is something we are currently thinking about on and should be possible in the near future :)
As a workaround, you can try to extract the frames of your GIF via Photoshop or some online tool like https://ezgif.com/split and then paste each frame into your project :)
I suggest you can use Chroma key for moving background..1st you should use plain green/blue/red background (*depend on your scene)..and save your animation to your gallery..
2nd use Kinemaster Pro Video Editor and use the moving background..and add your animation as video layer..
3rd use the Chroma key option and choose the color of your background to make it transparent..
4th Save it to gallery..and tada ...word Done ...
*hope help!!

Hey, you can use some free online tool to extract frames from GIFs.
One of those tools is https://ezgif.com/split
Usually, backgrounds are added separately in the composition process.
You can also create moving backgrounds in FlipaClip though. Just create the background on a layer underneath. With each additional frame added you move move the background/ animate it/ redraw it etc..
yes, but i cant create the types of background i would like, if gifs could be used it would be a lot easier for me to animate and i believe others would agree since they wouldn't have to make/animate their own backgrounds. Im not allowed to have video editors so my backgrounds are plain and boring!
use your brain ... And ALL the tools available before dumping your failures on the development team. I've only been using this app for 72 hours ... And it only took me 1 hour to figure out the workaround on gifs ... But then I use 7 different apps and combine tools to do what want to accomplish. No one app is perfect, for the cost I'm very happy with Flipaclip.
there is a workaround on the gif. I used it last night. Screen capture the gif turn it into a video clip then insert it into your clip...
hey, hey. The team is very small at the momemt so it cant be whipped up in 8 seconds. These things take time. And it takes even MORE time when your primary focus is on adding audio, which many people are already bugging them about it enough. I wouldnt be suprised if the team is extremely stressed out atm. So they'll get to that road when they cross it. Patience is a life skill.
Thank you for the clarification. I didn't know what the team's primary focus was.
Can you add put gif.....
