Project Folders/Groups

As Flipaclip is designed for phones and tablets, which by their nature have limited resources compared to laptops and desktop PCs, I find it best to split an animation into several smaller sections when working on a project. So I would have three projects of no more than 20 - 50 frames, rather than one large project . This also makes it easier to keep track of things, as well as being closer to the way one would work on a traditional pen and paper animation (where you could only really work on a handful of drawings at a time).

With this in mind, it would be great if the project window had a feature whereby you could group several small projects into one master project. This would make project management much easier. If, in addition, one was able to render all the projects contained in a master project into one movie (or image sequence), that would be fantastic.

Easier organization?

Can you guys make a feature where I can organize my animation projects into folders or groups? I lately have been finding my self getting annoyed because I can’t put different clips of the same animation next to each other and it’s all jumbled up with older projects.

It would be incredible if you could make a feature where you could make groups for the animations?

Project's details

Can there be a project's details that show us when the project has been started/created and how long we spent on it, please?

i like to know how long some work took me and also people asks me that sometimes :)

Grouping and Organizing

Can you add a feature where you can organize projects into folders or sections? It'd be very nice because seeing my unfinished, Cancelled and finished projects all jumbled together in a small screen is pretty bothersome.

It'll also be useful if you have a short cartoon series.

If I had this feature, I could organize my animations under Animation memes, Cancelled, Work in progressess, animation tests, and so much more!

Please make 📂

please make a folder..because It's very hard for me to create many projects. I need to organize. I think that If you make a new organizing structure like folders, your app will be more successful and useful to users.

Hey everyone,

I am happy to announce that this is now possible to arrange projects under folders :) It is done by pressing, holding and dragging the project into the stack!

Please check out the picture of how it is implemented bellow:

The option to render different projects into one video is still an interesting idea to think about.

Igor

Thanks for the idea. This is a direction we are currently exploring. We have thought of adding the ability to have scenes inside a project. This would allow you to work on the different animations for one project.

Also, we are looking into allowing projects to be grouped on the home page. Allowing to render various projects into one video is an interesting idea.

Multiple scenes inside a single project sounds like a great idea.
