Deleted the file from my phone
So, I'm stupid. Basically, I needed to free up some storage so was deleting junk files on my phone (it's a samsung, though I'm not sure what kind). I accidentally deleted the flipaclip file, and now all of my projects are lost. I still have the app, it's just that the projects wont open, because the files simply aren't available any more.
Does anyone know any way that I could revive these files somehow? I had so many projects in the works and drawings I treasured, I dont want to lose them all, please help me!

Hi so, I was going through my old animations, deleting some. I had my current animation I was working on at the very front. I went back to go work on it and it was gone. Deleted. I am extremely upset, I have worked countless hours on it and it was gone, disappeared. I have no clue how to get it back, I don’t think I can, but I just need it back. So is there ANY possible chance to get it back??

Undo deleted frames
so today was very stressful for all of us ( for me and mom mostly). My problem was that I was about to finish an animation but then I deleted The wrong frames honestly stressed me out and I started crying and shrieking apparently mom and dad came and told me to write this so yeah if I could just hit a undo button things would be so much easier I would not be stressed or have a bellyache I would be nice and calm not shrieking so loudly . Either way I’m going to have my cereal now . And it is one my favorites. Anyways bye !
Progress deleted?
I was going to animate a cat but I ended up just drawing a realistic cat. When I was almost finished after drawing for over an hour I tried going back to the main gallery but my phone glitched and showed me an ad. When I went back to continue my project almost all my progress was deleted. (I just had my rough sketch which I had on a separate frame) pls help.

I was trying to delete the movies of 3 of my animations that I’d updated to turn the updated ones to movies, but because I’m not familiar with the new layout yet I accidentally deleted them.

I worked my ass off 200 frames and when trying to delete a select group of 5 frames it deleted all my other frames but the 5 that were meant to be deleted. Change this, it’s absolutely ridiculous. And please, is there a way to get my frames back??

Please help! I was trying to help my daughter with her animation, and we ended up in layers. When I hit "undo" to remove what I did, the ENTIRE project erased. I read a thread from 5 years ago saying that there is no restore option "after the undo timeout". What does that mean!? Have you fixed it in that time? Today I accidentally deleted the app off of my kindle fire. After I realized what happened I reinstalled the app and found that only a few files came back. Is there a way to recover the lost files? I was not sure if I reset my kindle and do a full restore if the lost files would come back. Amazon support did not think I would get the files back.

Not sure if this is a bug or hardware problem. recently after my tablet took some damage, the thumbnails for my projects were no longer displaying. I completely deleted everything down to the last folder, uninstalled, reinstalled and still nothing shows up (except for finished movies). So far this is the only app I've noticed that's effected.

my daughter's tablet had to be reset and we weren't able to export or backup anything. We couldn't use her tablet at all, because every single app crashed. I copied over her projects from the phone, and they are visible, not just to the app. I have read that you need a rooted phone to copy the database over, but is there any other option? Error e-215 when trying to create new project
I was using flipaclip and I was adding some audio to my new project. Suddenly, my iPad just powered off and this happens when low battery. I turned it back on and went back to flipaclip and now all my projects are gone.
When I mad a new project, it showed e-215.
My iPad is an iPad Air 1 and the flipaclip’s version is 1.3.17

Unfortunately, if you have not backed up your projects manually there is no way to recover them.
In the future, we will have a cloud account option to save your project automatically.

Same thing happened to me. I deleted the app thinking my data would be saved in iCloud, but when I redownloaded everything was gone.
Hey Thomas, I am really sorry that lost your work. Make sure to use back up option in the future and once the cloud account becames available it will all be a lot easier.

so, I just finished a picture I was working really hard in, it took me hours to do, and I was finally done, and then I wanted to erase all the stuff on the 2nd layer but I did it on my first layer, I don’t even know what happened but I pressed something then the entire frame with the hard work instantly disappeared, and it didn’t allow me to go back, is there any way to recover this drawing?

Unfortunately, if you have not manually backed up your projects previously there is no way to restore them now :(
At this point, I would suggest that you reinstall the app and see if that will solve the problem by creating new projects.
