I cannot restore project that is backed up on Google Drive

I backed up my project to my Google Drive. I downloaded the backup, but the file format is not recognized, and I cannot open it in a file manager. I backed it up in multiple locations, so unlikely it is corruption, more a file type registration issue.

There should be an import/restore option in the main menu.

Once you upload you project to a selected app like Google drive. How do I retrieve it so I can continue working on it I thought it would automatically do it but now I just have a unfinished project sitting in a folder

I Have A Samsung galaxy tab s4 and my backup project files wont open.

I have a problem where whenever I try to open a flipaclip .fc file from files it won't open them saying that theres nothing on my device to open the files and always asks me if theres an app on the store to open them but I already have flipaclip on my device

Can't open my exported projects

So I'm surprised, I don't really know what to do. It should open it by itself but it doesn't.

I search on videos, I have struggled to find but I found an app which opens my files and with it, I can choose how to open my files.

(Which I can't do with my original phone's settings)

My phone - Samsung galaxy j3 2016

Android - ver5.1.1

Flipaclip - ver2.2.7-154

Is the Google drive backup feature disabled or broken?

Ages ago, I tried to backup all of my projects on flipaclip (the only option that was available to me at the time was Google drive) and I was never able to restore those projects. Recently I tried to upload another backup file to google drive as an experiment and encountered the same issue. Will those projects be forever unrestorable?

When opening .fc file, flipaclip doesn't react

I recently factory deserted my Huawei tablet and wanted to reinport my projects. I backed them up with Google drive and everything should be working, but whenever I open the file, my tablet only launches flipaclip and does not open the files themselves. Is this a bug or do I need to do something about my tablet? Early thanks for the help!

I cant open .fc files

I tried to open my .fc file and it just says "can't open file", im using a lenovo 10" tablet and i also downloaded the app on my phone a Samsung j3 2016 to check and it says "unable to find application to perform action". I thought it might be due to permissions but i cant find any permission options, I don't think it shows up on my phone because I looked up how to find it and it only says for newer phones. I really need to know that my file is backed up, please help! thank you

i can't make a backup

so, my movies stopped working a while ago, so i've been making backup projects and putting them on my drive. about yesterday I was doing the same, but I can no longer put my projects in my files. the only options it gives me are discord and ibispaint. Ibispaint doesn't allow aniamtions, and the project i need to make a backup is too powerful for discord. I believe flipaclip backup projects flie types aren't supported by flies, but im unsure. Anyhelp would be great! here is a image to show what shows up when i make a back up project. By the way, i am on a acer chrome book, so again. I have no clue if that effects anything. but yeah, any help would be great!

I was able to reproduce the issue on my side also so looks like a bug. I have notified developers and they will take a look and resolve the issue ASAP

what I meant to say: I am unable to open any of my exported projects (the .fc files created when a project gets exported). My phone says I have no apps that can open the file type.

I'm using version 2.4.0 of flipaclip on Galaxy note 10. Android 9.

It's funny because the same thing happened to me, which is why I'm at the forums in the first place!

hi,

I initially saved them on google drive, but to test if was just a problem with the file being on drive i downloaded it to my gallery and it still didn't open. that's when it showed the "unable to find application" message (on my phone). I've tried iton both devices and neither have been able to load it.

thanks

kian

I recommend using ES file explorer for opening files with certain applications.

I'm sorry if I made English mistakes, I'm french. I wanted to correct myself, I didn't searched on videos but on the net, and I wanted to add that I have flipaclip premium, and I did not update it since I originally exported the backup file.

thank you for helping me !
