Improved Move Tools

The copy/paste tool is really useful and although it seems simple at first, after working with it for a while - and doing some lateral thinking - it actually enables a huge amount of labour saving functions. I recently discovered I could copy/paste between projects - which is great when splitting an animation across several projects.

One thing that would improve it though would be a more accurate method of placement when moving a selected area around. The ability to lock movement to the x or y axis and a function whereby one could nudge the selected part of a drawing a single pixel at a time would be superb.

There is a tool that does this in Autodesk Sketchbook, and I find it invaluable, as accurate alignment using the stylus on the screen is almost impossible to achieve.

Hello! I am new to the Flipaclip community and I'm loving the app so far - thank you for making it.

Are there plans to follow up on this thread please? Improved move tools would be fantastic. For example I'm trying to make a slowly scrolling background layer, which would be very easy if I could move that layer by a precise number of pixels on the X axis each frame, but lock it on the y axis so it doesn't look like the background is wobbly. Thank you!

I am a new user and really like FlipaClip. I’ve made a few animations so far and immediately noticed there is no way to precisely move an item along the x or y axis. Please add this soon. 😁
