Any differences in performance with different ipads?

I'm thinking about buying an iPad (or mini) mainly for animation. We like FlipaClip so far and would like to take that further. We've been using it on an ipod. 

My question is if there have been any differences in speed/bugs/issues with the older Fusion 10 processor (in the cheapest 2018 iPad) vs the new one. Would prefer not to spend a lot at this point, but it might be worth it if the app works better with the newer (Fusion 12) processor. If you have a regular iPad (not air/pro), have you been happy with using FlipaClip on it?

Thank you for reaching out and I am sorry for a bit late response. I don't think that you need to buy an iPad with A12 processor. iPad from 2018 should work pretty nicely.
Even on some iPad mini, FlipaClip should work fairly well.
