It won’t allow me to give it access to photos, and it won’t record.
My IOS is an iPhone 7. Not a plus.
So basically, when I try to record or give it access to photos, it says something like “Please allow access” or “oOpS!! Flipaclip can’t freaking let you record!” Or at least what it feels like to me. The recording DID work, on the old phone I had. But, it won’t work now. And for the photos, it straight up just won’t do anything. There is no button to let it have access! Please fix this!

Hi. When I go to import a video into my project, I get a message stating "File access error e-45: please clear up storage space and try again." I did so, and the error pops up again and again, no matter what video I import. Do I need to clear up even more space or is this a bug? I had no problems with this previously.

I’m trying to upload a video inside my timeline but it gives me this error. I’ve just purchased the full version of the app.
I’ve already checked tue accessibility of the app to the library and photos on the iPad, and the file is stored inside it, but still, it doesn’t work.
Any way to fix it?

- On your Android device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps & notifications.
- Tap the app you want to update.
- Tap Permissions.
- Choose Storage to enable FlipaClip to access your storage.
iOS:
- Launch the Settings app from your Home screen.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap Gallery to view which apps can access it.
- Tap the switch next to FlipaClip to allow access.
- Tap the "Read and Write" option to allow photo access by the FlipaClip app.

I did that. But, this is quite a long story so forgive me that it might be confusing but I have to be honest.
I think I might know why this has happened. When I first downloaded flipaclip on google play in late 2018, I purchased all the premium features
However my phone later stopped working so I then switched to a new phone but when I download it again from google play, the premium features weren't unlocked so then on August 2019, I stupidly download a modded apk of flipaclip that had all the features unlocked but since that apk wasn't an updated version of flipaclip. I was missing out on contests. So in late April 2020 I deleted the modded one I was using just so I could download the official google play version to participate in the contests but now that I deleted the apk of the one I was previously using, I can't import my projects nor can I recover it, I've been downloading numerous apks from different websites but I think I need a specific one.
I might have to start over but 90% of me doesn't want to. This has probably has nothing to do with my issue but I have no idea how I can resolve this.

Hey Ronan, from what you described it looks like the only solution would be to re-install your phone, in order to get rid of all the unofficial files related to our app. I know that nobody actually likes starting again, but just be aware for the future that any app that you get which doesn't come from an official Google/Apple store might do this :(

Thank you. Can you make sure that your device is not connected to any other device/computer. Also do you have issues only with FlipaClip and can you test any other app that requires access to your gallery? Igor

24/10/2020 UPDATE! First of all. I still couldn't access the files. But I guess its not the end of the world because looking back at a drawing that I did back in April of this year (Which was part of a project that I can no longer access), it does not look the greatest thing as I thought it was back then. It's still very annoying that I still can't finish off my animations I was working on but I'm not too afraid to start over as I feel I can actually improve much better.
Thanks for the help though and if anyone else is in the same position as I was, don't be afraid to start over because it's probably for the better. Especially because I'm not really good at animation but I know I will get better over time.
