I am unable to purchase the $5.99 premium bundle. I have an iPad mini. When I press the button, nothing happens. However, it will let me buy the premium bundle components individually. Anyone else having this problem?

Premium bundle is acting up

So I’ve had the free version of FlipaClip on my IPad for awhile now. I was happy with what it provided but I wanted to get premium. So I went to the window with all the purchases, and tapped on the $5.99 bundle option. I then tapped buy on the window that popped up and waited for my iPad to ask for my finger print, but that didn’t happen. Instead, the window just closed as if nothing had happened. At first, I thought it was a small glitch and pressed again, and, again, nothing happened. I repeated this a few times before accidentally pressing of of the singular feature options. I didn’t realize it wasn’t the bundle and pressed buy just as I had done all the other time, but this time it worked. I used my fingerprint and bought the singular feature then realized my mistake. At least I knew it worked, right? Wrong. I continued to try and buy the bundle, and every time it didn’t work. After a few more attempts, I decided to try and press one of the the singular features, and what do you know it worked! This time, I didn’t buy it, but I had a knew idea. I had now realized it wasn’t my IPad to blame, but the app. I then decided to record what was gong on as proof so it doesn’t look like I’m crazy. I hope the staff of FlipaClip see this. I need help guys.

Can’t buy Flipaclip Premium

Hi, I’ve been trying to purchase premium, but this keeps happening...

When I try to buy premium, it shows the apple purchase screen and I give it access to pay and it says done. But when the screen goes away, flipaclip still says purchasing with the loadin icon underneath. When it goes away, it acts as if I never bought it and I have no idea why. I’m trying to buy the bundle, not individual features, this is a IPad Pro, version 13.6.1 iOS. I’ve tried restarting and reconnecting to the internet multiple times.

I’ve scoured every page on the web and I’ve repeatedly failed and I have no where else to turn to, so I thank you for any help given.

Have a great day,
Jossalyn

Purchase error on IOS of premium features

Good Afternoon, I have Family sharing set up for our household  and I attempted to purchase the premium features on our Childs iPad.  We have "ask for permission to buy" enabled on the device. I followed the prompts to ask permission and I approved the purchase on my device. The notification of approval did not come through on the Childs device for a long time. I accidentally backed out of the purchase page on the Childs device and the purchase did not finish properly. Now when I open flipaclip, there is no indication of the purchase happening and nothing happens if I click "restore purchases?

The Childs device is an iPad 7th generation and is running iOS 13.5.1

Cannot purchase Premium Features

Hello,

my daughter's iPad runs on iPads 13.5.1 and she is set as a family member with me as the organizer.

When trying to purchase premium features on Flipaclip, we get the "Confirm Purchase" prompt. When we select "Buy", the prompt closes, and nothing else happens. I would expect the usual Ask to purchase prompt, but it just goes back to the listing of Premium Features and nothing happens.

Attempted a restart, with same result.

Going Premium Glitch

I tried to buy the bundle package on my iPad (IOS 13.6), but when I click buy, nothing happens. I have successfully bought the Customize Grid Settings feature, so I am not sure what the issue is.

Hi Igor, I have now updated my phone to iOS 1.14 and now it worked, thanks for your help!

Hi Drew, I am really glad it is resolved and that means that issue was with the 13.X version of the iOS.

@Everyone else, please try and get your iPads and iPhones to 14.X version and see if that will finally help resolve this. Thank you, Igor

Hi Drew, thank you for the details provided. So this is happening only with the bundle? What if you try individual features ( you don't have to finalize payment)? Igor

I’m having the same issue. I tried to purchase the bundle and I had to request permission from my parent. The request never showed up in my Moms Notification Center. Now, when I try to purchase it, the app seems to be “thinking” about it for a long time, but nothing ever happens. Please help!

I am using an IPhone 8 that is running iOS 13.7. The app is version 2.0.3

Same problem here. 7th gen iPad, iOS 13.6.1, software version 2.0.2. First attempt kind of went through (confirmed card), but nothing changed and now clicking the premium bundle does nothing at all. Uninstalled app, etc., still not working. Can purchase individual additions, just not the bundle.

Thank you T, lets see if other users also report the same behavior. Igor

The problem is persisting with me. I have gotten the dialog to open up, and went through with the purchase after doing the ask parents thing, and purchased it but nothing changed. Nothing was taken out of my balance or changed in the app. But now the dialog won’t open at all for the premium bundle.

Thanks for sharing the details. In the meantime could you also provide us with 1. App Version: 2. iOS version: 3. Model of the device. Igor

Hey everyone,

As you guys already saw, there is a new iOS version 2.0.2 of the App.

Please let us know if the issue is the same or not after you perform the update to it.

Regards,
Igor

This happened to us. Our first attempt needed the credit card to be confirmed, so the IAP failed. Then when we try again, the payment dialog was not appearing.

Workaround:

I’ve worked around this problem by signing into a spare device using my son’s Apple ID, then purchasing the IAP on that device, and then pressing “Restore Purchases” on the iPad that he uses.

Possible workaround:

I wonder if the problem can be fixed by signing out of the AppStore account, signing in again, and then trying the purchase? Or maybe: sign out of AppStore, restart the device, sign in, retry the purchase?

Dev notes (I’m an iOS dev too):

There’s a message in the console “Payment added for transaction already in the SKPaymentQueue”. I wonder if the failed purchase attempt is still in the queue, so when we try the purchase again, it cannot be added to the queue because an item for that IAP is already there. Maybe you’re not calling `finishTransaction` for the failed transaction?

Hey Matthew, thank you very much for your detailed post, it is always great to see users (in your case even more :)) of our app providing such a feedback. Our programmers are looking into this in the background.
