I am unable to purchase the $5.99 premium bundle. I have an iPad mini. When I press the button, nothing happens. However, it will let me buy the premium bundle components individually. Anyone else having this problem?

Premium bundle is acting up

So I’ve had the free version of FlipaClip on my IPad for awhile now. I was happy with what it provided but I wanted to get premium. So I went to the window with all the purchases, and tapped on the $5.99 bundle option. I then tapped buy on the window that popped up and waited for my iPad to ask for my finger print, but that didn’t happen. Instead, the window just closed as if nothing had happened. At first, I thought it was a small glitch and pressed again, and, again, nothing happened. I repeated this a few times before accidentally pressing of of the singular feature options. I didn’t realize it wasn’t the bundle and pressed buy just as I had done all the other time, but this time it worked. I used my fingerprint and bought the singular feature then realized my mistake. At least I knew it worked, right? Wrong. I continued to try and buy the bundle, and every time it didn’t work. After a few more attempts, I decided to try and press one of the the singular features, and what do you know it worked! This time, I didn’t buy it, but I had a knew idea. I had now realized it wasn’t my IPad to blame, but the app. I then decided to record what was gong on as proof so it doesn’t look like I’m crazy. I hope the staff of FlipaClip see this. I need help guys.

Can’t buy Flipaclip Premium

Hi, I’ve been trying to purchase premium, but this keeps happening...

When I try to buy premium, it shows the apple purchase screen and I give it access to pay and it says done. But when the screen goes away, flipaclip still says purchasing with the loadin icon underneath. When it goes away, it acts as if I never bought it and I have no idea why. I’m trying to buy the bundle, not individual features, this is a IPad Pro, version 13.6.1 iOS. I’ve tried restarting and reconnecting to the internet multiple times.

I’ve scoured every page on the web and I’ve repeatedly failed and I have no where else to turn to, so I thank you for any help given.

Have a great day,
Jossalyn

Purchase error on IOS of premium features

Good Afternoon, I have Family sharing set up for our household  and I attempted to purchase the premium features on our Childs iPad.  We have "ask for permission to buy" enabled on the device. I followed the prompts to ask permission and I approved the purchase on my device. The notification of approval did not come through on the Childs device for a long time. I accidentally backed out of the purchase page on the Childs device and the purchase did not finish properly. Now when I open flipaclip, there is no indication of the purchase happening and nothing happens if I click "restore purchases?

The Childs device is an iPad 7th generation and is running iOS 13.5.1

Cannot purchase Premium Features

Hello,

my daughter's iPad runs on iPads 13.5.1 and she is set as a family member with me as the organizer.

When trying to purchase premium features on Flipaclip, we get the "Confirm Purchase" prompt. When we select "Buy", the prompt closes, and nothing else happens. I would expect the usual Ask to purchase prompt, but it just goes back to the listing of Premium Features and nothing happens.

Attempted a restart, with same result.

Going Premium Glitch

I tried to buy the bundle package on my iPad (IOS 13.6), but when I click buy, nothing happens. I have successfully bought the Customize Grid Settings feature, so I am not sure what the issue is.

This happened to us. Our first attempt needed the credit card to be confirmed, so the IAP failed. Then when we try again, the payment dialog was not appearing.

Workaround:

I’ve worked around this problem by signing into a spare device using my son’s Apple ID, then purchasing the IAP on that device, and then pressing “Restore Purchases” on the iPad that he uses.

Possible workaround:

I wonder if the problem can be fixed by signing out of the AppStore account, signing in again, and then trying the purchase? Or maybe: sign out of AppStore, restart the device, sign in, retry the purchase?

Dev notes (I’m an iOS dev too):

There’s a message in the console “Payment added for transaction already in the SKPaymentQueue”. I wonder if the failed purchase attempt is still in the queue, so when we try the purchase again, it cannot be added to the queue because an item for that IAP is already there. Maybe you’re not calling `finishTransaction` for the failed transaction?

Same issue here, my daughter can’t purchase

iOS 13.6

iPhone 6s

Version 1.4.5

I turned off parent approval and no change.  I tried another in app purchase for a different app and that worked fine.  So it seems it’s just this app.

when I click the price, it give me the popup to buy or restore. When I click buy it does nothing, just closes the popup.

App version: 1.4.5

IOS 13.6

iPad 6th gen, child account in family account.

Tried the steps from Apple support, van not find anything in notification centre.

Hello Christofer,

So it looks like it only a problem on iPads if that is the case. Could you also tell me which iOS version do you have on your phone, please?

As far as your purchase, unfortunately, as per Apple policy in-app purchase sharing is not possible between Family accounts. For your daughter to be able to use premium purchase you must sign in your Apple account on her iPad.

If you still wish to make a refund please check out this link on how to do that https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084

Hello Igor!

I bought it for my own iPhone yesterday to see if my daugther could use it on her iPad that is linked through family sharing but it didn't work. Maybe it's not supposed to. I'm not a specialist on family sharing. But I requested a refund for my purchase.

Hey Christofer,

Thanks for the details provided.

Can you guys test the steps from Apple support article, just to make sure that it is not being missed somewhere in the notification center on other linked devices, please?

-- Open Notification Center on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

From the Lock screen, swipe up from the middle of the screen.
From any other screen, swipe down from the center of the top of your screen.

-- Open Notification Center on your Mac

Click Notification Center icon Notification Center in the upper right corner of your screen or swipe left with two fingers from the right edge of your trackpad. Then click Notifications at the top of the Notification Center.

Hey everyone,

Once again sorry that this is happening. I've made one topic in which we can talk about this issue and try to isolate what is actually causing it.

@Andrej

Could you please provide us with the FlipaClip version that you are using?  Also, the model of the iPad would help as well.

@Estela

Please provide us with the following:

1. App Version:
2. iOS version:

3. Model of the device:

@Topic

There are complaints on the Apple support page as well about the same situation. So, please check out this link which could help resolve it and once again check the notification center on all related devices to that same account, from which you are trying to make a purchase.
