Can you guys get rid of the undo limit? Or at least make it so that you can undo more? This app is often very very unforgiving of mistakes. Devastating mistakes.

Hey Jordan,

Thank you for your inquiry.

At the moment you can do 40 steps back, which is a lot more than some applications that can do 1. Adding more/unlimited amounts to undo/redo would drastically increase the resource usage of the device itself.

Each step back to take is a screenshot/snapshot of the work you do and we have to keep in mind FlipaClip is mainly used on mobile phones which have a very limited amount of RAM memory and increasing them would cause a lot more issues, which is not something we would like to trigger, I hope that you understand : )

What if this was a setting, you select what device you have and that changes the recommended amount of max undoes, and you can set your own amount of max undoes, with an absolute cap that you cant set it any higher than, increasing depending on what phone/tablet you have. Kind of like the way the onion works. If that made any sense, I think it’d be a good update.

Hey Georgia, that is an interesting suggestion although would probably require testing each device for the amount of undo steps that would be OK to maintain normal work flow and you can imagine how challenging that might be :) Igor
